The challenge
Pelican Logistics is new to the commercial trucking scene. They wanted a brand and logo icon design that was an homage to the great motorsport / trucking logos of the past. Usually these logo marks included a cartoon character.

We received this sketch from the client as a starting point and sense of direction. We took this design and worked it into a functional logo that still hit the client’s requests. The final logo features a tough looking pelican with exhaust pipe wings.
